A Love of the Arts

Daelyn Waters (C’23)

Daelyn is majoring in American Musical Culture and minoring in Film and Media Studies and Journalism.

From the moment I was born, I fell in love with music by humming myself to sleep. In elementary school, I developed a love for the stage through theater. In middle school, I leaped into dance. In high school, I explored fields such as media, journalism, and filmmaking. During my time at Georgetown, I have cultivated these interests with courses that foster creativity, organizations that promote community, and mentors who assist with my journey. I am blessed to attend such a prestigious institution that embraces me and my love for the arts.
